Details regarding travel concession in Railways and Rajasthan Roadways:-

Concessions to Cancer Patients & their escorts in Railways

Govt.of India, ministry of Railway, Railway Board Commercial Circular No. 16 of 2010 No. TC/2196/2010/Cancer New Delhi dt. 12.4.2010. As per extant rule,cancer patient and their escorts are elligible for concession in railways fares for golng to (and returning from) recognlzed Hospitals for treatment and periodlc checkup. The element of concession is as per table:

Note: The 100% concession to the cancer patients is admissible only in the basic fare of Mall/Express trains and all other changes will be reallsed in full.

Rajasthan Roadways Concession

Concession available in Rajasthan Roadways Bus to cancer Patients is 75% and to attendent is 50% in Express and ordinary Buses.
